Designed in, or added on

Lighting is easiest to plan alongside a build — fixtures, wire runs and transformer placement designed with the patio and plantings. But it retrofits beautifully, too: most existing landscapes can gain a full lighting design without tearing anything up. We aim fixtures after dark before finalizing, because lighting is judged at night, not on a plan.

And it keeps working: lighting is inspected and adjusted as part of our maintenance visits, as plants grow and seasons change.
